I write for the Eldis Conflict and Security blog and am involved in launching the new Eldis Community site - a platform for online debate and communication. My background is in international development and media. My main areas of interest and experience lie in communications and development, conflict and aid delivery. I hold an MA in Journalism. About the guide

The Eldis conflict guide aims to cover the link between security, conflict and development. It higlights information on the development related aspects in conflict prevention, complex emergencies and post-conflict reconstruction by providing:

Structured presentation of key issues in aid and debt, including in the areas of debt relief, achieving the millennium development goals, emergency assistance, and the role of NGOs and civil society
Country-specific aid and debt profiling
Access to a broad range of related information through weblinks to organisations working in the fields of aid and debt
